CO-Teacher 

Must be a level 3 in CDEC's PDIS system. 

Work alongside and support the lead teacher. (Lead teacher can assign certain duties to the co-teacher.) 

• Step in whenever needed for program wide duties. (when lead teacher is absent fill in as the lead) 

Run and adapt circle time with proper wait times, and use of adapted materials. 

Plan activities for individuals, small groups using table top activities and lesson plan templates. 

• Help with classroom prep and clean up. 

Have ongoing conversations with the lead teacher about support, duties and needs. 

Participate in all school meetings, Early Childhood PLC's, training and professional development. 

Enforce school policies and guidelines.
